Hannover loans Zizzo to Duesseldorf (AP)

Bundesliga club Hannover says it is loaning American midfielder Salvatore Zizzo to second-division Fortuna Duesseldorf for a year. Hannover announced the move Thursday. The 22-year-old Zizzo, who holds U.S. and Italian citizenship, joined Hannover two years ago from UCLA but has had only limited appearances for the German club.
