DaMarcus Beasley to have knee surgery and miss for of remainder of season (AP)

American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley will have surgery to repair a damaged knee ligament and will miss most of the remainder of Glasgow Rangers’ season. The 25-year-old was hurt in a collision with Stuttgart goalkeeper Raphael Schafer during Rangers’ 3-2 loss Tuesday in the European Champions League on Tuesday and taken off the field on a stretcher.
