Marvin Avila scored the tying and go-ahead goals in the second half to give Guatemala a 3-2 victory over Mexico in a soccer exhibition Wednesday night. The win before a crowd of 42,349 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was Guatemala’s fourth in 29 matches against Mexico. Avila tied the game in the 65th minute when he redirected a pass from Yony Flores inside the right post from 14 yards out.
